Important Information | Target Data Breach

In addition to monitoring your accounts closely, please also use caution with emails and websites that claim to be from Target. We have learned of phishing emails and scams related to the card breach the communication is made to look like it's from Target and plays on the fears of consumers who may have compromised cards and requests personal and financial information. Do not reply to these emails with any of your data and do not follow links inside these emails. Target plans to post copies of valid emails to their site for reference.




We have received a list of Georgia's Own VISA® Check and Credit Cards related to the Target compromise and are currently ordering new cards and reaching out to the affected members. Please continue to

  • Monitor your accounts closely
  • Set up balance or balance summary Alerts within the new Online Banking system by going to the Settings link and then the Notifications tab
  • Set up balance alerts for your VISA credit card by going to Account Details and then clicking on the Alerts link

If you have a Target Red Card, please contact Target to determine any further actions with that card.

If you used our old online banking and have logged in within the previous 12 months, select 'Cancel' below and enter your Georgia's Own account number in the 'Enter your username' field. You will then be asked to provide your password from the old online banking on the next screen.
