Georgia’s Own offers a number of scholarships to young adult members who are working to improve what matters in their world!
Presidential Scholarship
This award is a gift from our President & CEO, David A. Preter, and is designed to help shape the next generation of credit union leaders. If you will be a first-year college student for the 2024-25 school year and plan to major in business, you could win a $5,000 scholarship!
To enter, complete the application and submit a short video (one minute or less) about you, what the credit union difference means to you, and what your goals are for the future.
John B. White, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
To honor the legacy of the Credit Union’s long-time board member and friend, Mr. John White, the Georgia’s Own Foundation has established an endowment in his name at Georgia State University, which will reward selected students in the Robinson College of Business each year for their academic achievement and their commitment to community.
