Georgia’s Own offers a number of scholarships to young adult members who are working to improve what matters in their world!
Presidential Scholarship
The Presidential Scholarship awards a $5,000 scholarship each year to one first-year college student who plans to major in business. The winner is selected in May. This award is a gift from our President & CEO, David A. Preter, and is designed to help shape the next generation of credit union leaders.
John B. White, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
To honor the legacy of the Credit Union’s long-time board member and friend, Mr. John White, the Georgia’s Own Foundation has established an endowment in his name at Georgia State University, which will reward selected students in the Robinson College of Business each year for their academic achievement and their commitment to community. Jump Start Scholarship
The Georgia’s Own Foundation Jump Start Scholarship awards $1,000 scholarships each year to 20 high school seniors who are enrolled or anticipating enrollment in college the year after graduation. Winners are selected in April.
